Where to watch Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach online in Australia
The 57th running of the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, formerly Bells Beach Surf Classic, will take place from March 28 to April 9.
Previously known as the Bells Beach Surf Classic, the Rip Curl Pro is a World Surf League (WSL) World Tour surfing competition held in and around Torquay, Victoria. The event is based at Bells Beach. In 2018, the Rip Curl Pro is celebrating 57 years and the world's best male and female surfers will be in town to compete for professional surfing's most treasured trophy – the Rip Curl Pro Bell. The line-up includes Mick Fanning, Steph Gilmore, John John Florence, Gabriel Medina, Sally Fitzgibbons, Nikki Van Dijk, and Kelly Slater.
The Rip Curl Pro is the second event on the 2018 WSL World Tour. This year, Aussie surf fans hope homegrown surfers will rise to the occasion. In 2017, South African Jordy Smith won the men’s competition and American Courtney Conlogue rang the bell in the women’s.
