Can the Tigers brush aside a week of off-field drama when they clash with the Giants?

SUMMARY: Tigers vs Giants is on 7mate in NSW and ACT. Everywhere else in Australia, it is only on Fox Footy. If you have a Foxtel subscription you are all set. If not you can watch for free on Kayo Sports using this 14-day trial.

The Tigers are the kings of bouncing back whenever they are even remotely written off. But they need to get their skates on as they cling to their top-eight position with a 4-4 record. Last week's dreadful second half against Geelong has put a little heat on the premiers.

Four wins from their past five games have the ninth-placed Giants nipping at Richmond's heels on a tight ladder. They're back at home next week against heavyweight West Coast before flying to Brisbane to play the surging Lions.

When is Richmond vs GWS?

This Saturday night clash starts at 7:25pm AEST at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne.

Tigers vs Giants match preview

Tigers vs Giants - Head-to-head

The Tigers will be grateful to be back playing footy after a week dominated by headlines over a nightclub brawl involving Shai Bolton and Daniel Rioli.

Bolton will miss at least three weeks after suffering a broken wrist in the scuffle. It's awful timing given the Tigers midfield is already missing injured trio Trent Cotchin, Dion Prestia and Kane Lambert.

The Giants will be quietly confident in the absence of Bolton, one of Richmond's best performers this season. GWS's recent form has been boosted by the return of Lachie Whitfield and the red-hot play of Toby Greene.

We believe the Tigers are in a mini-slump and vulnerable. We'll tip the Giants to pip Richmond in a tight contest.
