It's a simple equation for the Cowboys, if they beat Penrith they stay alive in the 2023 competition, but if they lose, their season is over.
The Cowboys need to win to be guaranteed a top 8 spot.
However they'll also need 1 other result in the final round to go their way - either the Roosters beat the Rabbitohs or the Sharks beat the Raiders.
If one of those happens, it'll come down to for and against.
