Another chapter in one of rugby league's greatest rivalries will be written when the Eels and Bulldogs do battle.

SUMMARY: Eels vs Bulldogs is exclusive to Fox League. If you're an existing Foxtel customer you're all set, otherwise your best option is to watch via Kayo Sports. You can watch for free using this 14-day trial.

Eels vs Bulldogs is one of the great match-ups in the NRL, regardless of ladder positions. After a 9-1 start to the season, the Eels have been a little up and down, splitting their past 4 matches. But they are still within striking distance of the top 2 after 14 rounds.

Canterbury won just their second game of the season last week, knocking over the Dragons 28-6. In encouraging signs, it was the Dogs' equal highest score in a game since round 25, 2019 and their biggest winning margin since 2018.

When is Eels vsBulldogs?

This match kicks off at 2pm AEST on Sunday 20 June at Bankwest Stadium, Sydney. You can see our full 2021 NRL season draw here.

Eels vs Bulldogs match preview

The Eels enter the game having scored 40 points in each of their last 2 outings. They will fancy another high-scoring performance against the Bulldogs who, after last week's stirring win over the Dragons, are looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since 2019.

Dogs find bite

The Eels have dominated this rivalry in recent times, winning 9 of the past 11 games against the Bulldogs, including the last 3 meetings. The latest was a comfortable 32-10 win in round 8 this season.

Canterbury coach Trent Barrett has named the same team that won against the Dragons but knows they face a far stiffer challenge this week. Predicted wet weather for Sunday could mean we're in for a dour affair, but we think the Eels will be too strong.
