The wait is over for rugby-starved Australians, with Super Rugby Aotearoa kicking off on 13 June. Only involving Kiwi sides, Super Rugby Aotearoa has been pulled together as a temporary replacement for the standard Super Rugby competition due to border restrictions.

There will be plenty of atmosphere too as there are no limits on crowds at games. That is a nod to New Zealand's ability to overcome the coronavirus pandemic. This competition can whet Aussie rugby fans' appetite until Super Rugby AU is launched in July.
