Live stream State of Origin outside of Australia

If you're outside Australia, New Zealand or the Pacific Islands, there is only 1 way you can live stream the State of Origin series or watch a replay on demand. That is via Watch NRL, a rugby league dedicated streaming service that has every regular season NRL game, the final series, State of Origin and Test matches all included in its subscription price.

Depending on how long (or often) you head overseas, you can choose from 3 price points: weekly ($24), monthly ($44) and yearly ($229).

Watch State of Origin replay and highlights

As soon as the game ends on Channel 9, Australia's biggest rugby league broadcaster, Fox League, takes over. Fox League can be accessed via Foxtel iQ, Foxtel Now or Kayo Sports. Kayo broadcasts almost all the same sports content as Foxtel – including all of its rugby league – at a much cheaper price, on a lot more devices, a streaming-style user interface and some viewing features tailored specifically for sport.

In addition to replays of the match itself, streaming to your device or TV, Kayo also offers a mini highlights package of the game. Interactive Stats, SplitView and No Spoilers are also among the Kayo features. It also offers all the same post-game interviews, chat shows and entertainment programming as Foxtel.

Kayo comes with a 7-day free trial for new customers, while those signing up to Foxtel Now for the first time get a 10-day free trial.

Subscriptions to Kayo start at $25 a month for the Kayo One package, which allows viewing on only 1 device at a time.

To get rugby league on Foxtel Now, you will need the Sport pack as well as the base Essentials pack to access sports content. Consequently, you will pay a minimum of $54 a month. While it's more expensive than Kayo, you do get access to entertainment content as well.
