Watch North Queensland Cowboys vs Gold Coast Titans NRL live and match preview

The desperate Cowboys will be hunting their first win of the season when they clash with the formidable Titans.
Disappointing is a word that easily describes the Cowboys' opening two weeks of the season. It's the opposite for opponents the Titans who have had two encouraging performances.
The Cowboys hardly need more incentive to avoid three straight losses to begin their 2021 campaign. Yet breaking news that captain Michael Morgan may need to retire due to a chronic shoulder injury is sure to give them a shot in the arm. But will it be enough to halt the upstart Titans?
Cowboys vs Titans kick-off
The Cowboys will host their Queensland rivals Gold Coast from 5:15pm local time (6:15pm AEDT) on Sunday 28 March.

Cowboys vs Titans preview
Cowboys coach Todd Payten told the media this week that the entire club was feeling the pressure and some players were harbouring self-doubts after their upset defeat to the Dragons. He still wants his players to "relax and go after the game". Easier said than done when the pressure rises with every loss.
The Titans are now clearly the number one team in Queensland. They thrashed the Broncos last round and are very capable of doing the same to a Cowboys outfit lacking composure and missing star forward Jason Taumalolo and captain Morgan.
The Titans are building nicely as their big-name marquee recruits David Fifita and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui settle in. They will need a big game from number seven Jamal Fogarty in the absence of his halves partner Ash Taylor (broken hand).
We're expecting the Titans to win this comfortably. The Cowboys' confidence levels are shot and questions have to be asked about Payten's team selections.
We'd suggest shifting Valentine Holmes from wing to his preferred position at fullback and move Scott Drinkwater to the halves, axing Jake Clifford. Yep, we like fantasy football here at Finder!
