The NRL's return pits North Queensland against Gold Coast in an all Queensland derby. Here's how to watch Cowboys vs Titans live.

Cowboys vs Titans offers both clubs a chance to kick-start their 2020 NRL campaigns. North Queensland Cowboys showed reasonable form in splitting their opening two games of the new season.

The Titans suffered consecutive heavy defeats and it appears likely to be another long year as the Gold Coast outfit adjusts to life under new coach Justin Holbrook.

When is Cowboys vs Titans?

Kick-off is at 6pm AEST on Friday 29 May at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville.

Who will win North Queensland Cowboys vs Gold Coast Titans?

This would seem a pretty lopsided match-up on paper. It will be the second game at the Cowboys' sparkling new stadium and they will be hoping to put on a show in front of their home fans. The Cowboys narrowly lost to Brisbane in round one then overcame the Bulldogs in Sydney before the competition was halted.

They appear to have a competitive team and will be eyeing September action. For the Titans, it looks like a long climb back to respectability following last year's wooden-spoon campaign. Justin Holbrook will be given time and he will need it. It's hard to see anything but a comfortable North Queensland win here.
