Newcastle face one of world football's toughest assignments this week, a rampaging Chelsea in the Premier League.

Chelsea come into this clash having destroyed Norwich 7-0 last week in a ruthless and comprehensive display.

Norwich are last on the table and their opponents this week sit second last so it could get messy again.

Newcastle have scored more goals than Brighton (5th) and Tottenham (6th) this season. Yet they remain winless and in 19th place having split the points in a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace last week.

When is Newcastle vs Chelsea?

Newcastle vs Chelsea kicks off at 1am AEDT on Sunday 31 October at St James' Park in Newcastle.

Who will win Newcastle vs Chelsea?

Newcastle are actually ranked 10th for goals scored this season, but only Norwich have conceded more. The goal difference sits at -9 and they remain winless despite showing some good signs within matches.

Chelsea on the other hand have scored 23 goals this season, second only to Liverpool, but have conceded just 3 in a super display of defensive control.

Newcastle are still without a full-time manager, with Graeme Jones in the interim role after the departure of Steve Bruce.

The offensive strength of Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mason Mount as well as their frugal defence means Chelsea appear to have all the answers and should record their 8th victory of the season.
