One of Disney Pixar's finest, Moana is a story set in ancient Polynesia, where a terrible curse incurred by the demigod Maui has reached a stubborn chieftain's island. Rather than stick to societal norms, his free-spirited daughter Moana (and the goofiest chicken ever animated) answer the ocean's call to seek out the demigod to set things right.

Featuring (rock) solid performances by Dwayne Johnson, Auli'i Cravalho and Temuera Morrison – not to mention a hilarious musical number by Jemaine Clement – this is one of the best family-oriented action-adventure flicks in years.

  • Auli'i Cravalho as Moana (voice)
  • Dwayne Johnson as Maui (voice)
  • Rachel House as Gramma Tala (voice)
  • Temuera Morrison as Chief Tui (voice)
