Despite generating 21 shots on goal to just 5 in their match last week, Melbourne City went down 1-0 to Western United. The result leaves them with 1 win from 3 matches and they sit sixth on the table.

Perth Glory bounced back from a shaky start to the season by demolishing the in-form Melbourne Victory 3-0, with all 3 goals coming in a 20-minute burst in the second half.

Who will win Melbourne City vs Perth Glory?

Melbourne City have produced an uncharacteristic start to the season. After a solid win against Brisbane in the opening round they surrendered a 2-goal lead against Adelaide in round 2, before dropping the clash with Western United last week.

They have gone 126 minutes without scoring, which would worry coach Patrick Kisnorbo, given they've had 27 shots on goal in that time, with only 5 on target. Kisnorbo will be looking to his main man, City's all-time leading scorer Jamie Maclaren, to get things moving again.

Perth Glory have found an attacking rhythm without Daniel Sturridge, who is still to have an impact after coming across from the UK.

Despite the form of both sides coming in, Melbourne City have shown they aren't far away. We think at home they'll click and produce a 2-1 victory.
