Now that the gang-banging motorcycle drama Sons of Anarchy has ridden off into the distance, you might be searching for a similar fuel to fire your roaring bad boy fantasies. Lucky for you, SOA creator Kurt Sutter isn't ready to park this niche just yet and has kickstarted an all-new saga set in the fictional town Santo Pedro.

Set over two years after the demise of SOA's main SOB, Mayans M.C. follows the young ex-con and prospect Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes (J.D. Pardo) on his rise through the ranks of the SOA's old rival gang.

Following in the tracks of Sons of Anarchy, Mayans M.C. is very much a family drama first and a crime drama second.

After his family fell victim to a Colombian cartel, EZ Reyes' life was turned upside down. Once a model college student, EZ Reyes spent much of his youth in prison for killing a police officer. Once the cop is exposed as crooked, EZ is released and quickly falls in with his brother's motorcycle gang. This is, of course, to the disappointment of EZ's once proud father played by the legendary Edward James Olmos.
