Posted: 1 August 2020 10:33 am News

Manly Sea Eagles vs Penrith Panthers

Manly will desperately try to stay inside the top 8 against high-flying Penrith. This is how to catch the action.

SUMMARY: Sea Eagles vs Panthers is exclusive to Fox League. If you're an existing Foxtel customer you're all set, otherwise your best option is to watch on Kayo Sports. You can watch for free using this 14-day trial. This gets you access to all its unique features and 50 additional live sports.

Manly continue to confound and impress all, from experts to armchair critics, by their resilience this season. Injuries and suspensions have been a major theme of their year to date, but wins over Parramatta and North Queensland the past fortnight have them in eighth position.

Next up they will be underdogs once more when they take on the Panthers at Lottoland in Brookvale. Penrith have struck a good balance throughout the campaign, often doing just enough to get the points. With nine wins, one loss and a draw so far, it's serving them very well.

When is Manly vs Panthers?

This all-Sydney match-up will cap off Super Saturday when it kicks off at 7:35pm AEST on Saturday 1 August at Lottoland. We have a full 2020 NRL season draw here.

Who will win Manly vs Panthers?

Manly just don't seem to know when they should lie down, an admirable trait engendered by coach Des Hasler. Their backs-against-the-wall victory over Parramatta two weeks ago was particularly impressive. They also play well at home but we think the Panthers are travelling just a bit better under their coach Ivan Cleary.

A Manly win certainly wouldn't shock, but we're leaning towards a Penrith win by a try or two.
