Liège–Bastogne–Liège, one of the most arduous cycling events in the world, is just around the corner – and Aussie fans can catch all the action live.

This year marks the 104th edition of Liège–Bastogne–Liège, the prestigious cycling event held in Belgium. The intense race will take place 22 Sunday April and will be contested over 258.5km with roughly 4,500m of climbing. All in all, cyclists are in for a long and demanding day in the saddle.

First run in 1892, Liège–Bastogne–Liège is the oldest of the five Monuments of the European professional road cycling calendar. That’s why it’s largely known as "La Doyenne" (The Old Lady). Notable contenders in the race this year include Alejandro Valverde, Julian Alaphilippe, Michal Kwiatkowski, Michael Matthews, Vincenzo Nibali and more.
