How to watch Hawthorn Hawks vs North Melbourne Kangaroos AFL live and match preview

The 2 sides looking for improvement in 2022 face off in a huge first round clash for early season momentum.
Hawthorn will begin their new era under the tutelage of Sam Mitchell, after being led brilliantly by Alistair Clarkson for 16 years. Mitchell will be looking to build on some encouraging form from the Hawks in the back end of last season.
North Melbourne picked up the wooden spoon last year, but did get much better as the season went on. David Noble will feel he has plenty to work with as he enters a new year.
When is Hawthorn vs North Melbourne?
The clash gets underway at 1:10PM AEDT on Sunday 20 March at the magnificent MCG.

Who will win Hawthorn vs North Melbourne?
James Sicily will make a long-awaited return from a knee injury for Hawthorn, but they are still missing a few of their big names with Ben McEvoy and Luke Breust headlining the losses.
The Hawks form in the back end of last year was encouraging, and it will be interesting to see what changes they implement under a new coach.
North Melbourne will be keen to unleash Jason Horne-Francis, their prized number one draft pick who looks set for a long career.
In what is a tight game on paper, we think that perhaps North Melbourne have the slight edge coming in given a few of Hawthorn's absences.
