Giants vs Hawks

GWS welcome Hawthorn to Sydney, with the Giants needing another win to help them get back on track. Here's how to watch Giants vs Hawks live.

SUMMARY: Giants vs Hawks is exclusive to Fox Footy. So unless you're already an existing Foxtel customer, your best option is to watch live on Kayo Sports. You can watch for free using this 14-day trial. This gets you access to all its unique features and 50 additional live sports.

Giants vs Hawks is a chance for GWS to continue their recovery from a poor start to the season by their standards. Criticised for their effort against the Bulldogs a fortnight ago, they revived their campaign with last week's narrow win over Collingwood to sit 10th on the ladder.

They face a Hawthorn side showing strong signs early in the season. Bouncing back with two wins following a heavy loss to Geelong in round two, the Hawks are fourth with a 3-1 record ahead of their trip north.

When is GWS Giants vs Hawthorn Hawks?

This match gets underway at 6:10pm AEST at Giants Stadium in Sydney on Sunday 5 July.

Who will win GWS Giants vs Hawthorn Hawks?

These two teams have been developing a nice rivalry in recent seasons. Part of that is due to the fact the Hawks have picked up a number of former Giants, including Tom Scully, Jon Patton and Sam Frost, who also had a stop at the Demons. After their heavy defeat to Richmond in last year's grand final, the Giants have been slow out of the blocks in 2020. The Hawks are playing well, but we'll opt for GWS to continue their early-season revival at home.
