Gold Coast vs Melbourne match preview
Even though West Coast were ripe for the picking, the Gold Coast Suns still had to work hard to record what in the end was an impressive victory. The likes of Rankine, Witts, Miller and company really led the charge and they'll need another big display this week.
Melbourne's defensive prowess was again on full display last week, conceding just 16 scoring shots as they slowly strangled the Bulldogs' ball movement.
Despite a 20-minute burst where they conceded 8 goals, the Demons were largely flawless. As good as the Suns have looked at times, it is difficult to see them having enough strength to topple the reigning premiers.
