Not that the Cats would be pushing the panic button just yet.
Both their losses were in tight contests, and they still have some key players to return from injury.
Geelong vice-captain Tom Stewart has already been named in the squad vs Gold Coast only 2 weeks after sustaining a knee injury. He was initially expected to be out for at least a month.
This game will also be the first time Jack Bowes will play against his former home club after making a high profile move from the Gold Coast to Geelong.
The Gold Coast haven't managed to beat Geelong since 2017 so it'll be interesting to see if they can turn the tide around.
