Paul Gallen leads a massive card against Kris Terzievski featuring bouts from Nikita Tszyu and Harry Garside.

SUMMARY: Gallen vs Terzievski, Tszyu vs Smith and Garside vs McFerran are live and exclusive to Main Event. The most accessible way to stream the boxing card live is through Main Event via Kayo Sports for $59.95.

In an event dubbed King of the Castle, Paul Gallen headlines a huge night of boxing at Newcastle Entertainment Centre. Gallen's record sits at 12-1 across his boxing journey, as the 40-year-old nears the end of his illustrious career. 32-year old, left handed Melbournian Kris Terzievski stands between him and the Australian Heavyweight title in this bout.

Nikita Tszyu is entering his second professional fight taking on Melbourne's Mason Smith. Tszyu is the youngest of the well-known boxing family, featuring father Kostya and brother Tim.

Tokyo 2020 bronze-medallist Harry Garside was the first Aussie boxer on the Olympic podium in 33 years. Only a month after claiming the Australian lightweight belt, he faces off against Tasmania's Layton McFerran for the title.

When does Gallen vs Terzievski start?

The fight card will take place at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre, and begins at 6:30pm AEST on Wednesday 11 May. As with all boxing events featuring a stacked card it's hard to predict exactly when the previous fights will finish. With that said Gallen vs Terzievski is likely to start at around 10pm.

Nikita Tszyu vs Mason Smith is in the penultimate slot of the night, so look for it to start somewhere between 9pm and 9:30pm. Harry Garside vs Layton McFerran has been given the third highest slot on the card, if you're tuning in by 8:30pm you should be able to catch this fight.

Gallen vs Terzievski fight preview

Paul Gallen has forecast that his boxing career could come to a close by the end of this year, meaning it is conceivable this is his final fight. While it remains likely he will step in the ring one more time before 2022 is over, it is clear that it is winding down.

His opponent here is relatively inexperienced in big fights by comparison and that has irked Gallen with a perceived lack of fight promotion coming from the younger Victorian.

The veteran and former NRL champion is the slight favourite here and we think he'll record a 13th victory and claim a title that will enhance his growing boxing legacy even further.
