Where to watch Coachella 2018 live stream and highlights in Australia

Catch Beyonce, Vance Joy, HAIM, Eminem, The Weeknd, Post Malone and more from the comfort of your couch.

Every year, around this time, thousands of young go-getters curl their moustaches, don some beads and head for the hot Californian desert to engage in hand-to-hand combat in one of the world's largest battle royale events.

Or so that's what I'm led to believe goes down at one of the world's largest and most prestigious music festivals. This is because, like many Australians, I've not actually seen this so-called "Music and Arts Festival" with my own two eyes. Well, thanks to a partnership between Coachella and various international telcos, we can watch this hip and happening bloodsport from the comfort of our own homes.

For Australians, it is Optus who will be offering up front-row seats to the action via the festival's official YouTube channel. There you can watch the show live, catch up on highlights of the previous days or check out the schedule so you know when to tune in to see your favourite combatant.

This year's Coachella has some big names on the roster: There's Queen Beyoncé, (who I'm led to believe is part of the aristocracy profiting from this free-for-all), HAIM, The Weeknd, Eminem, Tyler the Creator, A Perfect Circle, War on Drugs, Vince Stables, SZA, the thunder from Down Under Vance Joy and seasoned road warrior, Jamiroquai.

Wherever you are in the world, you can tune in using the embedded live stream below.
