How to watch Canberra Raiders vs St George Illawarra Dragons NRL live and free

The Raiders will be fired up to snap a 2-game losing skid when they welcome the Dragons to Canberra. This is how to watch.
Raiders vs Dragons features a Canberra outfit that has slipped down the ladder in recent weeks. Sitting comfortably in the top four a fortnight ago, consecutive defeats to Manly and Parramatta have them sitting a little vulnerably in seventh on the ladder.
Thankfully for Dragons fans, they have been heading in the opposite direction. They finally arrested a dreadful start to 2020 with back-to-back wins over the Titans and Sharks before a loss to the Roosters last weekend.
When is Raiders vs Dragons?
Kick-off is at 6pm AEST on Friday 3 July at GIO Stadium in Canberra. The full 2020 NRL season draw is here.
How to watch Canberra Raiders vs St George Illawarra Dragons
This Friday night match is only being shown on subscription services. It is not on free-to-air television, in fact less than 50% of the Dragons and Raiders games are on Channel 9 this season. So to catch all the action of Raiders vs Dragons you will need either Foxtel iQ, Foxtel Now or Kayo Sports.
All three matches on Super Saturday plus Bulldogs vs Rabbitohs on Sunday night are also subscription-only. For more information on how to stream the 2020 NRL season, we have a guide for you here.
Stream Raiders vs Dragons on Kayo Sports
If you are a fan of rugby league, you need to seriously consider Kayo Sports. The streaming service has every regular season game for 2020 live and in HD. Right now it also has a 14-day free trial and is the only way to get Fox Sports without Foxtel.
After that, Kayo has two subscription options. The Basic option costs $25/month and gives you access to two screens or devices at once. There is also a premium option for $35/month which gives you an extra screen.
Unlike other broadcasters, Kayo has a wide range of special features. They include SplitView, which lets you watch four sports at once on the same screen. Other features include Interactive Stats, No Spoilers, Key Moments and choose your own camera.
There is also a new feature for 2020 called KayoCam. This is an additional camera angle from the stands that will add to the viewing experience and take you even closer to the action. Kayo is compatible with Macs and PCs, iOS and Android devices, Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV, Telstra TV, Sony Bravia TV and Samsung TV (2017 or later).

Who will win Raiders vs Dragons?
Just when it seemed St George Illawarra's season was going to implode and coach Paul McGregor would be shown the door, they have shown some much-needed competitiveness. Yet with the Raiders sliding down the ladder and in need of a win, we don't think the Green Machine will have too much trouble knocking off the Dragons at home.
