How to watch Brooklyn Nets vs Golden State Warriors NBA live and free in Australia
Kevin Durant will make his return from a ruptured Achilles as Brooklyn Nets meet the Warriors in the NBA.
The NBA schedule makers have done a good job with this one. The 2020/21 season will tip off with a spicy clash between Kevin Durant's Brooklyn Nets and Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors. Durant, of course, won two titles with the Warriors before suffering a devastating Achilles injury and leaving for Brooklyn.
This will be Durant's first NBA action in 18 months. The former league MVP looked fluid and dynamic in the pre-season. Sadly, the Warriors will be without star shooting guard Klay Thompson, who himself tore his Achilles in pre-season and defensive stud Draymond Green who is out with a foot injury.
When is Nets vs Warriors?
Tip-off at Brooklyn's Barclays Centre is at 11am on Wednesday 23 December.

Who will win Brooklyn vs Golden State?
At full strength, we would be tipping the Warriors to win this one. Brooklyn may take a while to work in Durant and point guard Kyrie Irving, who also missed most of last season with injury. There is also great interest in new Nets coach Steve Nash, a two-time NBA MVP.
But for Golden State the absence of Thompson and Green. Without their two best defenders, the Warriors won't be able to stop the potent offence of the Nets, who have assembled a championship-calibre roster under Kiwi general manager Sean Marks.
