How to watch Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr 2 boxing fight live
Anthony Joshua is out to take back his heavyweight title from Andy Ruiz Jr. Here's how you can watch the fight live.
There is little doubt that boxing, and the heavyweight division in particular, has endured some tough times and lacks the global superstars of the past. Yet a rematch of Joshua vs Ruiz is sure to heave tongues wagging.
The fallen champion Anthony Joshua and upstart, rotund Mexican Andy Ruiz Jr is the sort of story the sport needs and cut its teeth on. When they last fought in June, Joshua was the well-spoken, undefeated Englishman expected to face few troubles retaining his four unified world title belts.
Ruiz Jr was a late call-up to take on Joshua, only confirmed a month before the bout. He stunned the boxing world with a seventh-round technical knockout, but dominated the majority of the fight.
Now the rematch is here and once again Joshua is a short-priced favourite. What's unusual is the fight location of Saudi Arabia where Joshua has to head to go atop the heavyweight division again.
When is Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz?
Main Event holds the rights to this top-shelf rematch, with the undercard getting underway at 4am AEDT on Sunday 8 December. With an eight-fight card scheduled, the championships blockbuster should begin around 7am AEDT.
It caps off a huge weekend of fighting which started with Tim Tszyu winning and Darcy Lussick knocking out Justin Hodges. Then it finishes with some UFC action.

Who will win Joshua vs Ruiz Jr?
There was already plenty of intrigue in this rematch, but it escalated even a little higher when the two fighters had their final weigh-ins. Joshua weighed in at 107.5kg, around 5kg lighter than the first fight in June as he targets improved speed and mobility.
Amid reports Ruiz Jr would also slim down, he instead tipped the scales at a whopping 128.4kg, 7kg heavier than when he stunned Joshua in New York. It has led to speculation about how seriously both fighters have approached this bout.
Once again Joshua is widely expected to win comfortably. The Englishman’s loss to his fellow 30-year-old was a major setback in his career and we can’t see a repeat happening a second time around.
