The gritty anthology series is finally available in Australia, so consider FOMO a thing of the past.

After the success of The People v OJ Simpson: American Crime Story, expectations for the second installment of the anthology series were high. Luckily, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story doesn’t disappoint. The series premiered in the US back in January to positive reviews, with critics praising the stylish direction and brilliant performances delivered by the ensemble cast.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace is based on Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in US History, written by Maureen Orth. As the title suggests, it explores the events around the infamous murder of designer Gianni Versace, who was gunned down in front of his mansion by spree killer Andrew Cunanan. The main cast includes Édgar Ramírez, Darren Criss, Ricky Martin and Penélope Cruz.
