At the risk of being taken out of context and made to sound like an Apple fanboy, allow me to state the following: never, never, never put your faith in an android. Especially if you live in the waking nightmare that is the Alien universe because more often than not your synthetic human counterpart is going to lead you to some truly awful scenarios. Quick example: the ill-fated planetary expedition made by the 14 castaways from the colony ship Covenant (plus one robo-helper). When this mysterious world proves to be eminently more "habitable" than the team has bargained for, a desperate inter-species fight for survival begins.
