Alternatively, you could use a VPN to hide your address and access your existing Foxtel Now or Kayo Sports accounts to stream the games, but we would advise against it. It’s not really complying with the streaming platform’s terms of service. However, AFL has a considerable number of international broadcast partners that show games in overseas countries. You can check the AFL website to see which countries broadcast the AFL.

How to watch AFL online free overseas

In the perfect world, we'd be able to watch all of our favourite sports from home while travelling overseas. But if you have even looked into the maze of broadcast rights for live sports, you'll know that will never be the case. So unless you can find and brave an ad and virus infested illegal stream, you're out of luck. That said, the rights to broadcast AFL have been sold to some overseas cable TV providers. This means it is possible for you to find AFL on in a local pub, or potentially on the TV at your place of rest. If you are staying long-term somewhere, it's definitely worth doing our research to see if any of the local TV providers broadcast AFL. However, when you compare the prices, you may still be better off with the Watch AFL Global Pass.
