Adelaide vs Port Adelaide match preview

Despite both these teams being 0-2, there is a lot more pressure on Port Adelaide as opposed to the Crows based on pre-season expectations. Many expected the Power to once again mount a challenge on the premiership. If that is to happen, it has to start now.

Adelaide's external expectation was much lower, but they would certainly be disappointed with their form line so far this year.

Josh Rachele backed up his Round 1 showing with another good performance last week for the Crows, and given Mitch Lewis ripped the Port defence apart in Round 2, he could prove to be an issue.

Port Adelaide simply must win this game. If you line the sides up, they still have more obvious talent. We think they'll sneak home despite some nervous moments.
