Just when Adelaide appeared on track for a disastrous, winless season, they have sprung into life under first-year coach Matthew Nicks. Three straight wins has turned the rebuilding side's year around and they will aim to finish with a competitive showing against the premiers.

Richmond took a little while to get going this campaign as they chase a third flag from the past four seasons. They have been involved in a tight battle for the top four, a position they will secure if they pick up the points here in their final match of the regular season.

Who will win Adelaide vs Richmond?

Bordering on complete disaster and an unwanted place in history, Adelaide's late-season resurgence has been a good news story of 2020. Victories over Hawthorn, GWS and Carlton have given their fans hope and also helped shape this year's play-off positions.

They would love nothing more than to jeopardise the Tigers' top-four hopes, but as much as we've been impressed by the Crows of late, we can't quite see that happening. Richmond will likely be challenged, but should have too much to play for and emerge victorious.
