How to watch 2022 Mugello MotoGP Italy live and free in Australia

Italy is the next stop in the MotoGP season with Tuscany playing host to a very important round.
The MotoGP season continues the European tour with a stop in beautiful Tuscany for the latest round at the Mugello track.
Australian Jack Miller produced his best ride of the season in France a fortnight ago, finishing second to Italy's Enea Bastianini.
Frenchman Fabio Quartararo still leads the championship, but that advantage has been trimmed back to just 4 points.
When is the Italian MotoGP?
The main race will begin at 10pm AEST on Sunday 29 May at the Mugello Circuit in Tuscany, Italy.
How to watch Mugello MotoGP in Australia online
If you're chasing all of the action, including practice and qualifying sessions, you'll need access to Foxtel iQ, Foxtel Now or Kayo Sports.
To see which service is best for you, you can check out our Kayo vs Foxtel guide here.
Stream MotoGP Italy on Kayo Sports
If you want to experience every moment of the 2022 MotoGP season, Kayo Sports takes the chequered flag.
Kayo Sports also live streams all MotoGP category races, as well as every practice, qualifying session and race. It also has every race from other motorsport championships such as F1 and V8 Supercars, so it's an essential option for motorsport fans.
The live sports streaming service covers over 50 sports and comes with unique features sure to appeal to sports aficionados.
The Kayo One package costs $25 a month for viewing on only 1 screen at a time. The Basic package allows you to stream 2 devices simultaneously and is $27.50 a month. For $35 a month, you can have the Premium package that lets you watch on 3 separate devices at once.
For new users, Kayo Sports offers a 14-day free trial, meaning you could watch the Mugello MotoGP for no cost.
Kayo is also available on a wide range of devices. It is compatible with Macs and PCs, plus iOS and Android devices, Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV, Telstra TV, PlayStation 4 and 5, and selected Samsung, LG and Hisense TVs.

Stream Mugello MotoGP on Foxtel
Like Kayo, Foxtel iQ is broadcasting every round of the MotoGP Championship live. You'll need a Foxtel pay TV subscription and currently the Sports HD pack is $74 a month with no lock-in contract. It's much more expensive than Kayo Sports if you want access to only sports content. Once that's done, you can watch MotoGP live on TV or stream races to your mobile device/laptop with the Foxtel GO app. The app is free for all Foxtel clients.
Another option for those eager to keep up with everything MotoGP-related is Foxtel Now, the pay TV giant's live streaming platform. It enables you to watch Foxtel content live and on-demand without a set-top box, so it may be a worthy alternative.
To watch MotoGP live, you will need to add the Sport pack to the base Essentials pack. The standard cost is $54 a month, but you get access to a lot of great non-sport content as well. However, again if you only want sport, Kayo is cheaper. You don't get the user interface or viewing features of Kayo.
Foxtel Now offers new subscribers a 10-day free trial, offering another way to watch the MotoGP at no cost.
Mugello MotoGP race preview
The Mugello circuit was an on-again-off-again host venue for the Italian MotoGP from the mid-70s until 1994, when it became the permanent host for this now iconic race.
Fabio Quartararo is the championship leader and the defending champion in this race. He needs a victory to fight off the chasing pack and we think after an Italian won in France, the Frenchman will salute in Italy.
