Sony hasn't officially started selling its flagship Xperia Z5 Premium in Australia, but you can order one right now through Expansys.

The Xperia Z5 Premium sits at the very top of Sony's premium smartphone range for 2015. At the Australian launch, Sony announced availability and carrier partners for the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact and Sony Xperia Z5, but in the case of the Xperia Z5 Premium, all Sony announced was that it would be available in November for an RRP of $1,199, and we've had to sit around waiting for more details. And we're still waiting.

Here are the basic specifications for the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium:

SonyXperia Z5 Premium
Screen size5.5in
Resolution2160x3840
Display density806ppi

The killer feature for the Xperia Z5 Premium as distinct from the regular Z5 model is the inclusion of a 4K 2160x3840 display screen with an astonishing 806 pixels per inch of displays screen.

We're nearly halfway through November and there's no announced availability for the Xperia Z5 Premium officially, but if you're keen, Expansys is now selling an imported Xperia Z5 Premium handset for $1,084.99, as spotted by Ausdroid.
