One of Nisha and Vasu's favourite travelling photos.

Well-travelled is an understatement for Lemonicks bloggers Nisha and Vasu.

With a CV that includes India Yahoo, Fox Traveler and Asian Traveller, Nisha is no stranger to travel writing.

These days though, she's travelling more for pleasure than for work with her partner Vasu by her side. Together, they travel the world, counting memories and recording them all on their blog Lemonicks.

We sat down with the two for a quick chat on where they've been... because we clearly haven't been inspired enough.

Q. What's the last holiday you took?

A: We have just returned to Mumbai, India from a 100+ days trip of Europe spanning more than 40 towns of Germany, Denmark, Poland, Czech, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia and Austria and we named this trip as #NiVaEuro :)

Q: What about the first holiday you took?

A: The very first holiday we took together as a couple was to Kathmandu, Nepal.

Q: What's your favourite destination in the world?

A: There is not one destination, but many. Because each destination has its own character.

Q: And your top three things to do there?

Our favourite activities are exploring on foot, visiting local markets and eating local street food.

Q: How about the top three items you can’t leave home without?

Nisha: Watch, mobile phone, wallet.

Vasu: Camera and accessories, money (including credit cards), mobile phone.

Q: Lastly, if you could only pick one – beach, city or mountains, which would it be?

Nisha: Mountains. Though I get nauseated on spiral roads, I like mountains for their fresh pure air, little houses and impressive landscapes.

Vasu: The Himalayas both in Nepal and India. When surrounded by huge mountains, although one is insignificant in terms of size, one has a sense of achievement having reached there.
