Vodafone switches up its mobile prepaid plans with new year-long and monthly deals
Choose between 365-day expiry plans or more feature-packed combo plans with Vodafone's new prepaid mobile offers.
Vodafone has updated its range of prepaid mobile plans with an eye to simple choices, boiling down options to just six plans across two plan types.
If you prefer to make a one-off payment each year with low usage, there are 3 new 365 Plus plans, with recharges at $30, $40 and $50. Credit lasts, as you might expect, for 365 days, with standard national calls charged at 20c/minute, texts at 20c each and data usage charged at 2c/MB.
For those who want more inclusions, there are 3 new Combo Plus plans, priced at $30, $40 and $50 respectively. The $30 recharge has a 28-day expiry, while the $40 and $50 recharges last for 35 days before requiring recharge. At launch, Vodafone is running a special on the $40 recharge at half price, bringing it down to $20 per recharge, although that's a deal that only lasts through to 2 October 2018.
The $30 recharge comes with unlimited standard national calls and texts along with 6GB of data, while the $40 ($20 on special) recharge has the same calls and texts, 17GB of data and an allotment of call inclusions to international destinations. The top tier $50 recharge is similar, but with 30GB of data and even more international calling inclusions.
