Vodafone opens up pre-orders for Huawei P10
Enjoy a bonus Huawei Watch when you pre-order.
Huawei formally revealed the Huawei P10 at Mobile World Congress this year, and more recently announced that it would hit our shores on 25 May. That’s less than a fortnight away, which means it’s not surprising to see its carrier partners announce pre-orders for the P10.
Vodafone is first to market with its Huawei P10 pre-orders. It will offer the P10 in either Graphite Black (which every carrier has) or Prestige Gold. If you want a Prestige Gold P10, you've got to go through Vodafone, as it has the full exclusive on that colour variant for contract or outright sale.
The Huawei P10 will go to retail at $899 outright, but Vodafone’s announced pricing for the phone is relatively modest in terms of handset repayments. On the $40 plan you’ll pay an additional $20 per month, on the $60 plan tier you’ll pay $10 per month and on the $70 tier you’ll pay $5 per month for the handset, with all other plan tiers bundling the phone into the standard contract price. Comparatively that means you’ll pay $480 in handset repayments as a maximum handset price on contract with Vodafone.
Vodafone’s pre-order special for the Huawei P10 is the inclusion of a free Huawei Watch with pre-orders made up until 24 May. That’s the original Huawei Watch and not the Huawei Watch 2 that was also announced at Mobile World Congress alongside the Huawei P10 and the Huawei P10 Plus. Still, it's a decent watch in its own right, and if you’re keen on an Android Wear smartwatch, it's a stylish option.
