Vodafone kicks off special data plans for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+
Get up to 100GB of bonus data when purchasing Samsung's latest handsets on Vodafone's Red plans.
After the much-anticipated announcement of Samsung's new Galaxy S9 and S9+ handsets at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this morning, Vodafone has detailed how much you'll need to pay to get your hands on them alongside its no-lock-in Red plans.
Along with the pricing information – which you can view in the tables below – Vodafone has announced a special offer for anyone interested in Samsung's new handsets. All of its Red plans excluding the $40 plan will come with bonus data when paired with the Galaxy S9 or S9+, starting with a bonus 2GB on the basic $30 Red plan and going all the way up to a massive 100GB of bonus data on the $100 Red plan.
This bonus data is only available to those who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+ on a Red plan before 6 March, although Vodafone will continue offering bonus data on its $50 Red plan until 14 April for those still on the fence.
Highlights of the many Samsung Galaxy S9 plans Vodafone is offering include a reasonably affordable $63 a month for the 64GB Galaxy S9 plus 4GB of data on a 36-month contract; a solid $80 a month for the 64GB Galaxy S9 plus 22GB of data on a 36-month contract; and $149 for the 64GB Galaxy S9 and 22GB on a shorter 12-month contract.
In addition to the bonus data plans, pre-ordering any of the Samsung Galaxy S9 handsets will net you a free Samsung Wireless Charger. If you're a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, you'll also score triple points on Vodafone's $50, $60 and $80 plans when purchasing the Galaxy S9.

Thanks for your question. The Samsung Galaxy S9 is available for outright purchase through Samsung at the price of $1199 for the 64GB version and $1349 for the 256GB version. The Samsung Galaxy S9+, meanwhile, is available at $1349 for the 64GB version and $1499 for the 256GB version.
