Vodafone’s Huawei P30 plans are up for pre-order
Grab one of Huawei's latest flagship smartphones on a 12, 24 or 36-month contract with Vodafone.
As is typically the case with flagship smartphone announcements, Huawei's reveal of its P30 and P30 Pro handsets today was swiftly followed by the big three Australian telcos confirming that both phones would be available on a variety of fixed-term contract plans when they launch next month.
Vodafone's offerings are perhaps the most diverse of the three, with the option to grab either handset on a 12-month, 24-month or 36-month contract. Where these plans differ most from the competition is in their minimum terms: unlike Optus and Telstra, Vodafone's Red and Red Plus plans are technically month-to-month affairs with the freedom to cancel at any time sans exit fees.
The catch there is that if you do cancel, you have to pay out the remaining cost of your P30 or P30 Pro in one lump sum instead of in instalments over the course of your contract.
Vodafone is also throwing in a free Sonos One speaker with all pre-orders of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, adding $299 worth of value for folks who get in early.
