Android users who've been waiting around to save big bucks on a new handset will be thrilled with Vodafone's early Black Friday deal.

If you have no qualms about staying connected to a Vodafone mobile plan for 24 or 36 months, you can save a whopping $600 on a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G or Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.

Prices start from:

  • $58.02 a month for the S21 5G 128GB
  • $74.69 a month for the S21 Ultra 128GB

The monthly repayment figures above include the cost of Vodafone's cheapest mobile plan ($40).

You'll need to act quickly as the offer ends on 30 November. Plus, these phone plans tend to sell out fast especially for certain models.

How much will a new Samsung cost with Vodafone?

Let's assume you want to pay the bare minimum per month.

The entry level S21 model (128GB) paired with Vodafone's cheapest mobile plan ($40 for 40GB, bonus data included), will cost you a total of $58.02 a month on a 36-month repayment contract.

Is Vodafone's Black Friday deal worth it?

Saving almost 50% off on a new S21 is about as good as it gets, as long as you're okay sticking it out with Vodafone for 24 or 36 months.

Just keep in mind that Vodafone's signals aren't the best in rural and regional Australia. You should only consider signing up if you live in a metro area and receive good signals at your property.

If you do, Vodafone's mobile plan does come with some perks and features such as:

  • Infinite data. You won't get charged for going over your monthly data limit, but your speeds will get slowed down instead.
  • Free 100 international minutes (minimum) to specific countries.
  • 3 months of Amazon Music Unlimited.
