Vite is a blockchain that takes a novel approach to smart contract deployment. The blockchain focuses on zero-fee transactions, while maximising transaction speed, reliability and security. According to the Vite website, the platform implements an innovative Snapshot Chain alongside a Hierarchial-delegated-Proof-of-Stake (HDPoS). The platform also works in conjunction with a Vite Virtual Machine that is compatible with Ethereum’s Virtual Machine. There are currently 3 key applications built on the Vite blockchain. The first is a decentralised exchange called ViteX, which supports more than 20 digital assets. The second is VitePay, which offers a fast payment solution for merchants that does not incur settlement fees. Singapore’s Ce La Vi Sky Bar and taxi services under the Midwest Global network currently utilise the VitePay service. Users can also pay for goods and services with Vite wallet. The final application on Vite is VitePlus. This is an enterprise blockchain solution for large-scale operations, such as governments and companies. VITE is the native coin of the Vite network. The primary use case of the coin is the collection of transaction fees and smart contract executions. Users can also stake VITE tokens for "quota". Quota can then be used to pay transaction fees, in comparison to the more common gas fee collection.
