2022 might be the year for an extended summer and Virgin Australia has answered the call with a smoking hot sale.
The "Tropic like it's hot sale" includes destinations to some of Australia's eternal summer destinations. The lowest fares are taking off from Brisbane to Mackay or Rockhampton from $69 one-way.
The cheapest travel dates run from 26 April 2022 to 22 June 2022 but if you're willing to fork out a bit more, you can find more sale dates between 11 January 2022 and 5 April 2022.

How good are these Virgin fares?
Virgin's been pulling out all the stops with its recent sales (including its "Seek adveNTure" sale) and this one is no different. These are some of the cheapest fares we've seen to these destinations with a wide range of dates to boot. When looking at the international fares, you may be able to find some cheaper prices with the likes of budget airline Jetstar but it's certainly cheaper than rival Qantas.
