Virgin Money is giving away 1 million Velocity Points
You could win 1 million Velocity Points if you apply for a Virgin Money credit card, home loan or insurance cover by the end of October.
Virgin Money is kicking off spring with a massive Velocity Points giveaway. One lucky frequent flyer will score 1 million Velocity Points when they apply for an eligible Virgin Money product by 31 October 2018.
That’s more than enough points to fly return in economy from Melbourne to Los Angeles 10 times!
The eligible products include the Virgin Australia Velocity High Flyer credit card, the Velocity Flyer credit card and the Reward Me Home Loan. Eligible Virgin Money insurance covers include Virgin Income Protection, Life Insurance and Home and Contents insurance. You must be approved by 23 November 2018 and include your Velocity Frequent Flyer number in the application to be in the running.
Only one lucky cardholder will score 1 million bonus points, so it’s not worth applying for these products just for the sake of throwing of your hat in the ring. However, each of these products comes with bonus points offers as well.
For example, the Virgin Australia Velocity Flyer card currently offers new cardholders up to 60,000 bonus Velocity Points when they apply by 31 October 2018 and meet the spend requirement. You’ll be rewarded 20,000 Velocity Points each month you spend $1,500 or more in the first three months, giving you the potential to earn up to 60,000 bonus points in total. You can also continue to earn up to 0.66 Velocity Points per $1 spent, while taking advantage of extra perks including a $129 Virgin Australia gift voucher each year and complimentary travel insurance. These perks come at the cost of a $64 p.a. first-year annual fee, which reverts to $129 p.a. after that.
This is just one example of an eligible card, so make sure to check the features, fees and T&Cs of each specific product before you’re persuaded by the potential to nab 1 million Velocity Points. If you were already considering a Virgin Money product, make sure to apply by the end of October for your chance to win.
