Virgin Australia too Sexy for Their Uniform

Virgin Australia has joined forces with super sexy fashion model Elle Macpherson, lovingly known as the "Body."￾

Together they have launched Virgin Australia's stylish new crew uniform this morning in Sydney. Attended by some 60 Virgin Australia staff, Elle was walking the walk while showcasing the latest addition to Australia's sexiest airline.

A Fitting Joint Venture

As usual Sir Richard Branson's team has left no corners unturned with the design of the uniforms; designed by no other than well-known Australian designer Jill Grbac, the new uniform marks the beginning of an exciting 2011 for Virgin - with many changes planned to keep the brand fresh and liked by the millions of its customers.

Virgin Australia Group Executive of Corporate Communications, Danielle Keighery said: "Virgin Australia was ready to redefine the way style can be used in a travel environment. The company is dedicated to enhance customer service and they will showcase their dedication with an exciting range of new products and services.

She said: "Our new uniforms represent the start of an exciting new future for Virgin Australia as we begin to reposition the airline in Australia over the next two years. At Virgin Australia we know that our staff are our greatest asset. Today, our pilots and crew graced the catwalk with Elle Macpherson and they looked absolutely stunning."￾

"They will continue to be the face of our airline that so many Australians love and now they have a stylish uniform that befits the excellent service they provide."￾

Jill Grbac, famously known for winning Project Runway was delighted to design the new Virgin Australia uniform. She said: "I took inspiration from the glamour of flying in the 1960s and gave it a contemporary edge to fit Virgin Australia's new brand positioning. I worked closely with Virgin Australia to create the ultimate design that would not only look sophisticated and have that wow factor, but be comfortable and of superior quality. To have my designs seen by millions of people every year is such an amazing opportunity and it all came to life today."￾

No doubt, this venture is a dream come true for the up-and-coming Australian designer, putting her in the spotlight of international media. Westfield Sydney hosted the new launch this morning.
