How does this sale compare to previous years and other sales?

Virgin's Boxing Day sales never fail to hit the mark. The 2020 deals are no exception, with the cheapest fares available also going for $75. In 2019, flights started at $75 each way and in 2018 they started at $79 each way.

In 2019, the airline also ran its 2020 Abroad Sale throughout Boxing Day. This was handy if you were looking for discounted international flights. It included flights to Hong Kong from $689, Tokyo from $699 and Los Angeles from $999 return.
