Book these domestic flights before midnight tonight and earn extra points for every $1 spent.

Virgin Australia is offering 50% bonus points on eligible flights until midnight tonight.

This means that rather than earning the usual 5 points per $1, you earn 7.5 points per $1 when you activate this offer.

How does it work?

It's a simple 2-step process:

  1. Activate the offer with Virgin Australia. You just need to enter your Velocity membership number.
  2. Book an eligible flight before 11:59pm AEST 30 June 2021 and make sure to include your Velocity Frequent Flyer number.

How does this offer stack up?

Although this isn't as good as when it was offering triple points in April, Virgin has dropped a good deal for travellers planning to book travel in EOFY sales. You don't have to worry about finding eligible flights with all Virgin fares on sale now qualifying.

"Velocity's point offering has never been as generous as rival Qantas, so earning extra is always welcome," said Finder's points guru Angus Kidman.

"It also increases the earning possibilities for sale fares."

Which Virgin sale flights are eligible?

You're in luck because eligible flights include any domestic flight operated by Virgin Australia between now and 11:59pm 17 May 2022.
