Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob Squarepants... and his new sneakers collection.

Launch yourself back into the days of your childhood with arguably one of the best fashion collections we've ever seen. You'd literally have to live under a rock to not know who SpongeBob is, but that's okay, so does his bestie, Patrick.

The brand Vans have just dropped an entire collection devoted to the 90s kids show, SpongeBob Squarepants. It consists of adult, youth and toddlers footwear so we can all join in on the fun. It won't just be everyone's favourite sponge making a debut with other beloved characters getting in on the fun, too. You can expect to see Patrick Star, Plankton and SpongeBob himself on six exclusively designed footwear styles. It doesn't just stop there, you can expect to see some graphic tees, bold tracksuit pants and skate decks.

“SpongeBob SquarePants is loved by trendsetters around the world, but this limited-edition collaboration elevates his style even further, offering something new and unique for his audience,” Jose Castro, senior vice president of Nickelodeon Soft Lines Licensing, stated. “Vault by Vans has combined our iconic SpongeBob characters with its iconic aesthetic, and we think fans of all ages are going to love the result.”

The show always received phenomenal ratings and this year the rumour that the show was being cancelled had fans in an uproar. Thankfully, it was only a rumour that Nickelodeon shut down quickly, but it just goes to show just how important this loveable animated show really means to people. Given that the TV series has been running since 1999, it's had a fair amount of time to rack up a loyal fan base.

The collection will range in price from $45 to $260. The full line launched on the 24 February which means one very important thing. You can get your hands on this right now! You can shop the full range of SponeBob Squarepants x Vans directly from the Vans website. You can also check out Farfetch who have stock of the collection too!
