UQUID is a protocol built on the Ethereum network that intends to bring cryptocurrency back to its roots, as a low-fee, fast method of purchasing products globally. The platform offers a vast range of services, including paying significant bills for utilities such as electricity, pharmacy, TV and Internet. UQUID has an online shop, where users can purchase a wide variety of products using crypto or fiat currencies. In a process called "shopping mining", users are rewarded with tokens whenever they make a purchase on the platform, intended to inspire a self-sufficient ecosystem. On top of certain utilities, the UQUID shop also offers games, mobile credit and even groceries. To allow for reduced prices and superior deals, UQUID uses "automated shopping making" to bring together pools of products from various suppliers. Eventually, UQUID aims to offer P2P ecommerce transactions, ridding the necessity of an intermediary. UQC is the ERC-20 "virtual currency" used in the UQUID ecosystem. It can be used to purchase goods online, as well as staked, contributed to liquidity pools and even lended to other customers in exchange for interest.
