Peep the adorable line of emoji tees that you can shop right now.
Japanese retailer has been known to drop some pretty hype-worthy designs, but it may have just gone ahead and released it's absolute cutest collaboration yet. Teaming up with LINE FRIENDS, the retailer has just dropped a capsule featuring the animated characters designed by mega K-Pop boy band BTS.
The collection sees a range of unisex T-shirt designs all featuring the loveable cartoons. For those who aren't familiar, LINE FRIENDS is a project by Japanese messaging app Line which sees global artists come up with a range of their own emoji-like characters.
BTS first worked with Line Friends back in 2017 to create eight animated figures called Tata, Mang, Chimmy, RJ, Koya, Cooky, Shooky and Van. Each character represents a different member of the band, except for Van, a space robot who acts as BTS' protector. Cute.
There are tees to suit every style preference with some simple designs on offer, such as a plain white tee with heart pocket detailing that gives off total COMME des GARÇONS vibes. There are also plenty of brightly covered slogan tees featuring the BTS Line Friends if you're after something that screams kawaii.
When can you shop the collection?
The Uniqlo x BTS BT21 line has already dropped onto the Australian Uniqlo site, meaning that you can get your hands on the tees right now. Each piece is super affordable, retailing for just $14.90. With BTS becoming a certified phenomenon though, we guarantee that this capsule will be an absolute sellout, so you'll have to be fast if you want one.
If you're in the market for some other cute collections, Nike recently released a totally retro line with Japanese label Atmos. Lazy Oaf has also just announced a second collaborative line with iconic footwear label Dr. Martens if you're in need of some punky but sweet kicks.
