Uniqlo has created a line inspired by Beauty and the Beast
Uniqlo's 25 piece Beauty and the Beast collection launches today.
Honestly, us fangirls couldn't be more obsessed with the live-action adaptation of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. And it seems the beauty and fashion industries feel the exact same way.
We were so excited when we saw L'Oreal's lipstick and nail polish collection inspired by the characters from the upcoming film. We were then blown away by Minkpink's amazing clothing collection created in conjunction with Disney, featuring rose motifs and an interpretation of Belle's golden gown.
But we may have just reached peak excitement now that Uniqlo has announced it's releasing its very own Beauty and the Beast-inspired clothing collection. The line will offer styles that take design cues from the fashion in the live action film. So far we've seen that the line includes a blue provincial style blouse, tunics and a range of printed tees bearing iconography and quotes from the film.
There are 17 items of womens clothing and eight items of girls clothing in total. According to WWD, this collection will only have an instore presence at three stores in the USA. Fortunately, there are quite a few pieces available online at Uniqlo so that we Australian shoppers can still get in on the action. The collection launches today (13 March) and we should start to see pieces pop up online very soon.
This Beauty and the Beast collection is part of a broader Uniqlo project called "Magic for All", which is a collaboration with Disney, Marvel and Pixar designed to create comfortable and quality clothing that makes "everyday life fuller and more comfortable".
Beauty and the Beast will be released on 23 March in Australian cinemas.
