Ubisoft shows off more Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Brodie Fogg 13 June 2017

Ubisoft used its E3 conference to show off AC: Origin's Egypt.

While Microsoft managed to snag the official announcement for Assassin's Creed: Origins yesterday, Ubisoft still committed a portion of its own show to the upcoming adventure. What we see in the new trailer is a broader look at AC: Origins' Egypt.

The sunbaked landscapes are peppered with a variety of wildlife, prey and predators alike. Lions, gazelle and flamingo, all make an appearance. How these creatures will be leveraged in the gameplay is yet to be seen, but we'll likely get a better idea when Ubisoft goes hands-on with Origins after the show.

We also see (as rumoured) boats are making a return, and there seems to be at least some level of underwater exploration.

Check back here for the full gameplay demo when it becomes available.
