Where to find passengers in Brisbane

The Uber app works all around the greater Brisbane area, and in other parts of Queensland, but you can generally earn more by picking up more passengers. Uber drivers in Brisbane are lucky to be in a city with no especially busy areas, and a broad range of peak times they can work in, especially Saturdays.

When to drive

  • Weekday mornings - 4am to 9am
  • Weekday evenings and nights - 4pm til Late
  • Friday - 7pm til Late
  • Saturday - 3 pm til 5 am
  • Sunday - 4pm til midnight

How to do Brisbane airport pickups

You'll need to have a registered e-TAG with Brisbane Airport, to pay the airport access fees, before you can do pickups. However, you can do drop-offs freely.

There are specially designated areas at the airport, which serve both domestic and international terminals. When you receive a pickup request, check which one your rider is at, and then simply head over to collect them.

There are specially designated Uber pick-up zones at the airport, so your passengers will need to go there.

      Hi Alex,

Thanks for getting in touch with Finder. I hope all is well with you. 😃

The main differences among these Uber services are rates, accessibility, type of vehicle, and features, to name a few.

UberX is a common Uber service which features which allows you to travel in a four-door sedan for one to four riders.

UberBlack or simply Black features black high-end cars. Most people who use this service are professionals who want to have a sleek and classy looking car.

UberSUV features SUV cars while UberLux features premium and luxury cars that include brands such as BMW and Mercedes.

I hope this helps. Should you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach us out again.

      Have a wonderful day!

      Cheers,

      Hi Simon,

Thanks for getting in touch! To know how to get a discount for the Booked Hire Driver Authorisation (DA), you’d need to contact Uber as we don’t have information on how they obtain the discounted rates. Hope this clarifies!

      Best,

      Hi Alex,

Thank you for getting in touch with Finder.

You may use Nissan Leaf as an Uber taxi. Please note that all cars driving with Uber in Brisbane must meet their requirements such as in excellent working condition, no older than the maximum age for the Uber vehicle option chosen, a 4-door car or passenger van, no more than 8-seats (including the driver’s seat), able to pass a vehicle inspection etc.

      I hope this helps.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

      Cheers,
      Jeni
