Alex Hourigan
Hey chicks, I'm Al.
Sally McMullen
And I'm Sal.
Alex Hourigan
And this is Two Broke Chicks, the show that shares life lessons from the gals, for the gals. Today, strap in your boots, because we have an episode that's really gonna be damaging to your wallet but exciting for your face. Basically, Sal and I are going to be going through our ride or die, tried and tested, beauty products that you wish you started using when you were 18, 14, out of the womb. We have worked as shopping journos for a combined five years and as a result, have been really lucky enough to try a wide range of products across multiple categories. We're talking skincare, we're talking makeup, we're talking haircare and we're talking body.
Sally McMullen
Body, yody, yody!
Alex Hourigan
So from viral Instagram brands, to hidden gems and some absolutely incredible dupes that are actually rude. They're that good. These are the products that we promise are going to be worth the bang for your buck. We don't know each other's pics, either. So I'm praying that we haven't just got the same, like, seven products each.
Sally McMullen
Prepped a few extras just in case. But yeah, if anything, that will just show how good they are if we both have the same ones.
Alex Hourigan
But before we get into the episode, Sal, what's your life lesson of the week?
Sally McMullen
Okay, my life lesson is a handy little tool that we all need on our laptops. How many times have you clicked 'Yes, I've read the terms and conditions', and you have not even clicked that link?
I don't know what you're talking about. I always read the terms and conditions.
There is this website called 'Terms of Service; Didn't Read', which basically analyses and summarises the terms and conditions in a really succinct summary that's actually easy to understand. And you can also get a browser extension, then that way every time you go to read T's and C's, or click on the T's and C's, it will pop up and tell you a summary.
Alex Hourigan
Wow!
Sally McMullen
Yeah! So handy, because a lot of the time even if you did read them, they're full of legal jargon that the average person can't understand. So check it out.
Alex Hourigan
I love that. My life lesson this week. It's kind of like a three parter. But basically, it's just everything that I've learned myself from this Kanye, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian situation.
Sally McMullen
I was hoping one of us was going to bring this up.
Alex Hourigan
Of course, it's me! Like, let's be honest, I am actually best friends with Kim Kardashian. She retweeted one of my articles that I wrote about her perfume brand. So we're really close.
Sally McMullen
It's true.
Alex Hourigan
So for context, at the time of this recording, it was the day that Pete Davidson's texts to Kanye have dropped with- Have you seen them this morning?
Sally McMullen
Yes, this just gets messier and messier.
Alex Hourigan
Messier and messier. And then Kanye being like, "My daughter's singing she's in love with an emo girl on TikTok". And my favourite quote, and by favourite I mean, most hated thing that he said, is his "They're not even asking me what they're posting". And 'They're not even asking me if it's cool". Like, "I know what's cool. I made them cool".
Sally McMullen
About his children!
Alex Hourigan
Yeah! About, like, the Kardashian family.
Sally McMullen
And the Kardashians in general.
Alex Hourigan
So my first life lesson is to check your ego. You know how, sometimes as well, girls will be like, "I made him hot. He dressed like shit". Or like, guys will be like, "Like, I paid for everything". Like just, do you know what? Even if you feel that way, keep it to yourself, because you're going to look so silly. Very silly.
Sally McMullen
Yeah, it's gross. Also, why are you trying to change people? Like nobody's impressed?
Alex Hourigan
Yeah, it's gross. It's gross energy. Second is, so the text leaked because Pete had sent them to his friend and his friend leaked them, I'm assuming. Somehow someone, he sent screenshots to someone, of his text messages and they've leaked. They've since been deleted, but basically just look it up, they're all over the internet. Do not send screenshots of a conversation to anyone. Send a voice note if you need to tell someone about it or, like, they've got to be your ride or die best friend. Especially when you're a celebrity there's so many ways things like that can leak. Don't do it. I love reading it. But I'm sure that, you know, they're not enjoying it. And again on the ego thing, Pete replied to, like, Kanye being, when Kanye was like, "Where are you at now?". And then Pete's like, "In bed with your wife", with a photo of him.
Sally McMullen
No! It's just so. Oh my god.
Alex Hourigan
I'm not gonna lie, I love it a little bit, because Kanye has hit him with so much stuff over the last, like, couple of weeks. But then it's like, oh, no. Now all the people that are on Kanye side are gonna be like, "He said this, he said this".
Sally McMullen
Yeah exactly. Yeah, like, I can't blame him. Lesser people would have cracked a lot sooner. But I'm like, oh, like part of me is kind of like, I wish you didn't clap back. But also, I'm here for the drama. So I'm torn!
Alex Hourigan
And then, he's like, made a post on his Instagram saying, "This is a photo from last week when I last saw by children". And then Kim's just commented, "Stop with the narrative, you picked them up for school this morning". I'm done with all the men and their egos and all that. So the final life lesson is, and you know what? I swear we've said this before, but maybe here's a little reminder, is just don't air your dirty laundry. Keep it to yourself. Keep it for like, your girls night with a wine. Bitch about your ex then. But try to keep all of this jibber jabber off the socials.
Sally McMullen
Yeah, keep it cute and classy. If you're feeling a little bit angry or something's happened, like, wait 24 hours before you post something because it's very likely that you'll go to post it and be like, 'I don't even care that much anymore'. Or you'll realise with hindsight that the Internet doesn't need to know.
Alex Hourigan
So on that note, let's get into the episode.
We love spending our money and getting our money's worth. That is what this episode's is about. It's not that you need to consume more products or, like, buy more or spend more. It's genuinely about if you need this type of product or you need something to serve a certain purpose, this is how you're going to get it. We're going to go by categories. So we're gonna start with makeup, skincare, haircare, and then body yody yody. Okay, so first up in makeup, my number one is the Morphe Hint Hint Skin Tint. This bad boy is $28, and if you want an affordable dupe for the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, which is $105, I have found it! This product is literally so underrated. I don't understand how more people don't know about it. Without a doubt one of the most flawless finishes I've ever seen. It's a natural, radiant glowy finish that sits and melts into your skin, that quite literally just looks like your skin. I'm trying not to say that 'your skin but better'.
Sally McMullen
But it's true!
Alex Hourigan
But it's true. And the fact that it's $28 is mind blowing. It's available at Mecca and it lasts for 16 hours on the skin. A big issue with some radiant foundations is, or dewy finishes, is that they can just get eaten up by your skin or they, you know, transfer a lot. But this bad boy lasts on your skin for 16 hours, I wear it to work, I wear it out, night and day. And it also is formulated to boost your skin's moisture for 12 hours. So it's like, skincare meets makeup. It does last you a good chunk of months as well. Like you don't need a lot of it.
Sally McMullen
A little bit goes a long way.
Alex Hourigan
Oh yeah.
Sally McMullen
My first makeup pick is also a foundation. This is an absolute classic but I think it could be a bit of a controversial one.
Alex Hourigan
I know you're gonna say and it is controversial.
Sally McMullen
It is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. I do not give a f*ck about what anyone says this is the best foundation. I have been using this foundation for on and off for 10 years because every time I try a new foundation, I end up going back to that one. When you Google 'best longwear foundation', it is in every product carousel, every article, every piece of content, like it's not just me. The facts don't lie here. I've just never found another foundation that offers better coverage, that literally lasts all day long. Because every other foundation that I've tried that's longwearing always rubs off like around my jawline, or my nose, around my mouth. This one doesn't do that. Like, it does not budge. Like, it is incredible. I will say that obviously the coverage can be very heavy. So you just need to be conscious of that when you're applying. So I would suggest using a sponge as opposed to your hands or a brush. Because I just feel like you get a bit of a lighter coverage when you're first applying it that way.
Alex Hourigan
Yeah, well a sponge is gonna absorb the excess product, whereas the brush is gonna leave that on your face, and so is your hands.
Sally McMullen
Exactly. So if you are concerned about that, go with the sponge and then you can always build up if you need to, but you can shop it pretty much everywhere, Sephora, Adore Beauty, Myer, David Jones. And it's $62, so it kind of sits in the middle, I would say, when it comes to the price of a foundation. But I think it does have a really lovely satin finish and it's also available in over 60 shades, which a lot of foundations aren't, so it has that going for it too.
Alex Hourigan
I'm going to absolutely blow everyone else's mind again with another fabulous affordable dupe. This is, I've spoken about it on TikTok before, but it is the Flower Beauty mascara. Oh my gosh. So Flower Beauty is founded by Drew Barrymore, so that's like, obviously a bonus tick. It is $7 and this Flower Beauty mascara is 10 times better than the viral Maybelline Sky High. And also 10 times better than the Too Faced Better Than Sex. I have tried so many mascaras in my life, and nothing comes close to this. I use the shade Blackest Black and it literally curls, lengthens, and volumizes my lashes like no other mascara before. I do have long lashes but they're very straight. The first time I use this, it literally yanked them up and was like, 'You will sit up there all day and you will be curled', and I didn't even curl my lashes. And one of the other things that's my biggest pet peeve with a mascara, is when it transfers or crumbles. This does not happen. It literally lasts all day long. And phenomenal, phenomenal. It's also always sold out. If you can find it anywhere, it's sold at Chemist Warehouse for $7. If you can find it, please try it, you won't regret it. I tried it by accident because I got in PR, and then since then, I've continued to repurchase it. Because when we work in the job that we do, which we are so lucky to be able to do, we do get sent a lot of products and a lot of the time I don't necessarily have to repurchase a product because I've got another one to try next. But this one, I repurchase literally every time I run out. One time Sal had to buy it for me because she found it somewhere in stock and I couldn't find it for like, months.
Yeah, that one was on my list as well because you have converted me. I echo everything that you've said, it's absolutely the vibe. Speaking of celeb beauty brands, my next makeup pick is the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, which you've probably seen all over TikTok. I'm usually pretty sceptical when it comes to celebrity brand makeup collections. I feel like they can be a bit hit or miss, but I feel like Rare Beauty is one that actually is doing it right. And the products that I've tried so far have been really good quality. It's a liquid blush, but it's really pigmented. But it blends beautifully. Have you ever noticed that sometimes with a liquid blush that does have a strong colour to it, it can be really hard to blend out? It takes ages and then you end up rubbing off your foundation as you're doing it?
Yeah.
Sally McMullen
This one's not like that.
Sometimes if you put, like, a liquid product on it will, like, pick up your base.
Exactly. And then it kind of mixes together and discolours whatever you're putting on top. This isn't like that, it blends beautifully, the colour is incredible. When you first put it on you're like, "Oh God, what have I done?", but as you blend it out, it's a really soft, beautiful colour.
Alex Hourigan
Do you have a favourite shade?
Sally McMullen
RIght now, it's Joy, which is kind of like the coral, orange-y blush. Usually I would go for more of a pink or red, but orange blush is on trend, so I thought I'd give it a try. And it is really gorgeous. I love it.
Alex Hourigan
I think it gives, like, a little bit more of a bronzy look as well if that's what you're going for. But I love that blush has come back.
Sally McMullen
Me too! I feel like for a few years we were just all about the contour, no blush. But I just feel like it gives you a nice little glow. You can pick it up for 34 bucks at Sephora, so not bad.
Alex Hourigan
Moving into skincare. I only had one pick for skincare, which might be crazy, because I've tried a lot of products and I've spoken about them on the podcast before. For example, the Paula's Choice BHA Liquid Exfoliant, I've spoken about that before, spoken about Drunk Elephant before, didn't want to repeat myself. Y'all can find that info elsewhere. But the one that I wanted to highlight is quite expensive. So I didn't want to, kind of, chuck like $500 worth of skincare into one section and people be like, "Thanks gal, going to get all of that". It is the Sunday Riley Good Genes Serum. This has been all over my newsfeed, has been one of the top recommended serums in every beauty article I've read, and I just bit the bullet and paid the $172. Ahh! And bloody hell, I, do you know what? I kind of didn't want to like it when I bought, because I was like, if I like this serum, that means I have to keep buying it. And it blew me away. It is $172, Good Genes Serum, and what it is is an active ingredient serum that helps to create cell resurfacing, to give you a glowy beautiful, untextured skin. Like, it is without a doubt, one of the best hard working serums I've ever tried. I use it, I use it at night, because that's when you want to use your active ingredient liquid exfoliants. And literally the first night I used it, the next morning I woke up and my skin was still hydrated, glowing. And I'd seen a difference in just how my makeup sat on my face the next day. And you need, like, a pea size of this stuff, so it lasts you so long. I'm still on that first bottle and I bought it months ago.
Sally McMullen
Wow.
Alex Hourigan
I love it. I know it's $172, but I really like it. I think there is also a sample size, so if you want to try it, because you know skincare products can be a little bit different and how they sit on everyone's skin, definitely go with the smaller size. I probably should have done that but hey, worked for me. It also is a little bit more gentler on the skin. So if you have sensitive skin, it's actually formulated with lactic acid, which is more gentle than AHAs and BHAs, which are a little bit more intense in terms of liquid exfoliation. And it also has licorice in there for skin brightening so that you can kind of have that glow and that radiance. And then the lactic acid helps to get rid of any texture and things like that. So you're getting the smooth, glowing, radiant skin. Take a drink every time I say glowing, or radiant, or hydration, or dewy in this episode.
Sally McMullen
Okay, my skincare pick is one that I know Alex and I both love. And that is the Glow Recipe Watermelon Mask. So this is another one that I had seen, probably all over Instagram at the time, and that was the reason why I went into the store to buy it. Because I was like, this can't be that good but I need to try it. I also got one of the little mini ones that you can get at Mecca to try it out first, to see if I liked it. It is incredible. I could not tell you how many times I have re-bought this mask. It's an overnight mask that you can pop on before you go to bed or you can do it for, like, a 10 minute quick mask if you want to. Basically, get your shot glasses ready, because it's hydrating, brightening, and it also helps to decongest and exfoliate your skin. So it does a lot in one mask. And that's because it contains watermelon, and hyaluronic acid for hydration, but also those AHAs to buff away dead skin cells. One thing that I was concerned about initially and have had this experience with other overnight masks, is that they take ages to soak in and then you leave half of the mask on your pillow. This one isn't like that, it soaks in really quickly. And you don't get any of that, like, you're half stuck to your pillow during the night. Literally. And you're like well, there goes half of that bottle.
You're like, "That's $20 on my pillow right there".
But you're like, "But you look gorgeous!". Your pillows' like, ahhh! But I found that my skin always looks brighter and more hydrated the next morning after I use it and it just acts as a beautiful base to start the day. Usually my skin looks quite dry, puffy and just a bit dull when I first wake up, so I love using that mask. I use it maybe once or twice a week. And I love using it if I have, like, a big day or you know I'm actually going to be leaving my little gremlin cave and go out into the world. Because yeah, I just feel like my skin always looks more beautiful after I've put that on. And the best part is that it smells like heaven.
Alex Hourigan
Oh yeah,
Sally McMullen
It is so gorgeous. And that goes for every Glow Recipe product but especially their, all of their watermelon range, so like, the body moisturiser and stuff too.
Alex Hourigan
Sal actually has an article on the site where she tries over, like, $500 worth of Glow Recipe products. So if you're interested to see which ones are worth the bang for your buck from Glow Recipe, feel free to check that out. We can leave it in the show notes.
Sally McMullen
Yeah, definitely. So my next skincare one is another one that I know that we both love. And that is ZitSticka.
Alex Hourigan
Oh, f*ck yeah!
Sally McMullen
Exactly. So there are a few different products from ZitSticka that we absolutely love. I've got to give a shout out to their Press Refresh sheet mask, because that's one of my absolute favourite sheet masks of all time. But today I am shining the light on the Killa Kit. They do have different products to target different types of pimples, but these particular patches are for those angry, deep, blind pimples that usually take days or sometimes weeks, to surface. And God they hurt and it is so frustrating because you just want them to come to the surface so you can deal with them. So basically this magical little patch has micro darts in it, that when you apply it on to the pimple, they self dissolve and target the pimple at its heart. So they contain hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and salicylic acid. You can wear them overnight, but they take two hours to dissolve and get the zit. So make sure you wear them for at least two hours, but I usually wear mine to bed. And I put one on last night, I had this angry little pimple underneath my nose that had been there for days and I was like, 'That's it!". Put it on last night, woke up, and it had come to the head. And then I was able to put one of those Goo Getters, sorry, one of the Goo Getter patches on, which is one of the patches that's made for like, those surface pimples, and it already feels so much better.
Alex Hourigan
They're so good. Also like, they don't hurt to put on at all. Like the Killa Kit pimple patches, like, have those little micro darts on them. And like, the close up photo of them can look a bit intense, but it feels good. Like, it feels good when you press it into the skin and you can kind of feel those little darts going into the pimple, and you're like, "Yeah, get it". I love them. Moving into haircare. I love hair care.
Sally McMullen
Me too. We both have a full head of hair. So we need help.
Alex Hourigan
You've probably seen these products on your Instagram feed because they were plugged by literally every influencer in the universe. And I was like, I'm very hesitant with influencer marketing products because I'm like, do you like it or did the brand just have a big marketing budget? Spicy but true. The Bondi Boost hair growth, shampoo and conditioner are completely worth the hype. Do I think every influencer that posted about it tried it? No. But I did, and I have used Olaplex shampoos, Kevin Murphy, Evo Hair, and a bunch of other big names and nothing tops this shampoo. We will put an image of the before and after of my hair in this, and it completely transformed my, like, dry, dead, ranky ends into, like, this gorgeous, flowing mane, if I do say so myself. And my hair did grow. It's a little bit pricey at $75 for both the shampoo and conditioner, 500mls each. You can buy them at Priceline, and I think there is a smaller size, but you don't need it. Buy the big size.
Sally McMullen
Yeah, I feel like with beauty, if there's something that you're really going to invest in, haircare is 100% the thing for me.
Alex Hourigan
The other thing is, the Bondi Boost formula is trademarked. So that is why you know you're getting something that no one else has on the market. Their formula is trademarked and, like, their secret little recipe to hair growth. And it smells, and is formulated with, peppermint. I love peppermint. Smells so good and so fresh and it, like, kind of feels a little bit zingy on your hair and I'm like, "Ooh yeah".
Sally McMullen
Okay, my haircare pick is another one that you've probably seen all over TikTok. But before trying it, I wasn't really convinced. And then my sister had it, so I was able to try before I buy, and that is the Olaplex Number Seven Bonding Oil. If you have dry hair or hair that tends to frizz out after you've styled it, or if there's, like, a little bit of humidity in the air, like me, you absolutely need this product. I love using it before I blow dry my hair. I feel like that helps keep it from, like, going full Hermione Granger after I've blow dried it. Or I'll run it through the ends of my hair after I've curled it, but before I've brushed the curls out, and that helps them keep their volume and their shape, but stops them from going a little bit frizzy, which sometimes does happen when you're brushing out your curls. And it doesn't weigh down your hair like some other hair oils. So I've tried some others or some of the ones that are like dupes, and I've just found that the consistency's a little bit thicker. Whereas this one is more of a thinner consistency that I feel like doesn't leave your hair looking lank and oily. So I would definitely say that it's worth the hype.
Alex Hourigan
I saw this Tik Tok thing, it's like, "It causes infertility", and it was like only if you eat it. You eating your Olaplex, babe?
Sally McMullen
Literally though. Just as a rule of thumb, don't eat your beauty products.
Alex Hourigan
Don't eat your beauty products, they're not for consumption. Put them on your face, or your hair, or your body, whatever you want. Okay, please don't kill me for this pick if you're listening, but it is the Dyson Airwrap. It is my bougie purchase to myself that has been without a doubt, no regrets, the best hair styling product I've ever invested in my life. It is a hair curler, hair blow dryer, and hair straightener, all in one, there are six attachments. And it is without a doubt, the best thing I've ever spent money on in my entire life. This is another product that is trademarked. There is nothing else on the market that's like this or can be like this, because when a brand trademarks something, it means other brands aren't able to make anything like that. It is the creme de la creme of hair stylers and it's super good for your hair because it enables you to style your hair when it's wet. So you blow dry and style your hair at the same time, and when your hair is wet, it's at its most vulnerable state. So by doing that, you're not exposing it to really high heating from a blow dryer and then a straightener or a curler. It just does it all in one go. And the heat that comes off, it isn't super hot either, so it's not absolutely frying your hair. And it's available at Sephora, David Jones and Adore Beauty, however, I got mine on Facebook marketplace, and I paid $400 for it. And it still had warranty. So if you really want one, look on Facebook marketplace because some people are crazy. And just, some people, like the girl that I bought it from, she said that she just didn't have the time to use it. She just had a newborn and she was like, "I love it but I don't have the time to use it and I'd rather just have the money for it". So I was like, "Here's 400 cash, doll".
Sally McMullen
This is my baby now. You have your baby, I have mine.
Alex Hourigan
My apartment building had, like, a fire alert in it because someone, I don't know burnt their toast. And there was, like, a fire alarm and it's like a legit one. And my roommate and I were leaving and we were like, "Shit, what do we do?", like, "Do I need to grab anything?". And I grabbed my mom's ring and my Dyson Airwrap.
Sally McMullen
Oh my god! That says everything.
Alex Hourigan
Our last category, but most definitely not our least, is the body. So a lot of people don't really give their body skincare the attention that it deserves. Why do we put, like, 7000 products on our face and we like, the rest of our body we're like, "Yeah, sure, we'll let the shower water run down it". My favourite product is the Frank Body Smoothing AHA Body Lotion. This bad boy is $25, it's available at Mecca and is, not a dupe, but is better than the iconic and viral First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser Moisturiser, which is $43. I have like, really sensitive skin, I have eczema, super dry and when I shave, I can be very prone to getting razor rash, or ingrown hairs, or like, my skin can get really itchy and dry. And ew, I'm really painting myself in a very sexy image for all of you out there. Basically, this completely changed my shaving game for me because I was no longer uncomfortable. Like it really helped to smooth my skin and, like, get rid of any of those red bumps that you can get after shaving. And the reason it does this is because it contains AHAs which you find in a lot of your face skincare. But it works the exact same way in terms of resurfacing and getting rid of dead skin cells. And by doing that, you're not ending up with layers of dead skin cells that are trapping ingrown hairs under there and you're left with, like, just raw, gorgeous skin. It is 10,000 times better than using a physical exfoliant. I find that just ends up drying out my skin more. But when you're using a product like this, and any AHAs or liquid exfoliants, make sure you also use sunscreen because you don't want to get sunburned, or skin cancer, or age. I love that that's my most worst one. I'm like, you know sunburn, skin cancer, but ageing?
Sally McMullen
That's where I draw the line!
Alex Hourigan
But yeah. What's yours?
Sally McMullen
So my one is a Frank Body product too!
Alex Hourigan
Oh, well. You know what Frank? you doing something good out there, doll.
Sally McMullen
Exactly. And it is their new Clearing Bodywash. Came out in early Feb, so by the time this drops, you know, it's been out for a little bit. But this body wash is so bloody good. I found that body washes a lot of the time are really drying. They do tend to, kind of like a cleanser on your face, sometimes they feel like they're stripping your skin. But this particular body wash contains kakadu plum, coffee seed extract, vitamin B and aloe vera. Pretty much all of which help to hydrate your skin, and add moisture to your skin, but also help balance it out, prevent ageing, which we've spoken about, and also acne. So if you ever get, like, pimples on your back or on your chest, I would absolutely recommend getting this. Because sometimes I'll get, like, a few little zits on my back and they're really hard to treat.
Alex Hourigan
You can't reach them!
Sally McMullen
Yeah, but I've actually found that yeah, that I've just had like, more of a clear skin experience after using this cleanser. I've been using it for about, a body wash, sorry, I've been using it for about four weeks now and I'm absolutely loving it. Also smells delicious too.
Alex Hourigan
Also Frank Body, a lot of Frank Body products are formulated with caffeine in them and caffeine in skincare is a great brightening ingredient on your skin. So they have that in there under eye cream as well, which is great for you know, darker under eye circles. So keep an eye out for that in your beauty products that you're purchasing, if you feel like you want to brighten your skin a little bit.
Sally McMullen
And it's only $13.
Alex Hourigan
Frank Body is so affordable, it's stupid. It actually offends me. Like, take my money, like, they deserve more!
Sally McMullen
Literally. But absolutely would recommend. It's a newbie on the block, but I back it.
Alex Hourigan
And last but most definitely not least, is the Bondi Sands Pure Tanning Foaming Water. If you are a tanning gal pal, gal boy, whatever, person, human, as we all are, This is the product you need in your life. As I said, I can have really dry skin, I'm eczema prone, so when I use mousses, or really dark tans, they just stick to, kind of the dry patches and I end up looking crazy. Like I came out of, like, the gutter and I'm the monster of the night, creature of the night who like. But this is one of the most beautiful, seamless tans and if you are a lazy girl, and you like to fake tan, this is the product for you. Basically the Bondi Sands Pure Tanning Foaming Water, you apply using a mitt, as you would any normal other mousse or cream. Apply it to your whole body, takes about a couple minutes to dry, two minutes, three minutes, and then go about your business. Go to bed, and you wake up the next morning, with a completely gorgeous, very natural looking tan. You don't look like you just rolled around in mud basically, or that you're bordering the line of being racist. And it doesn't transfer. So like, I sleep on white sheets and when I put this on, nothing, and yeah, 10 out of 10. Also, you don't have to do the gross exfoliating seven layers of skin off before you apply your next layer. It fades really well. Like it just fades by itself. And you can apply it to your face. So you don't have to end up with that awkward, like, white face or doesn't cause breakouts, for me it didn't at least. And I just get like a buffing brush, and then pop a little bit of the foaming water on that, and then use it on my face and ja'dore, love. I've actually run out of Bondi Sands. Love ya, hit your girl up.
