If travelling through this program, you will need to have a vaccination certificate administered at least 14 days before entry and not more than 12 months before entry, or a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued within 6 months before entry.

All other travellers who meet Vietnam's strict entry requirements do not need to be vaccinated.

Do I need to quarantine when I arrive in Vietnam?

As of 1 January 2022, the Vietnamese Government has reduced its mandatory quarantine to a 3-day self-quarantine for fully vaccinated travellers. Visitors will be required to provide a negative PCR test upon arrival and to take another one on their third day. Visitors will still need to monitor for symptoms for 7 days.

Those on approved tour packages do not need to complete quarantine but need to take regular self-tests and monitor for symptoms.
